Missing the snow...NOT!

I love being back in the sunshine and humidity! I was looking through some random misplaced pictures and found these. Although I love SL and had lots of fun this winter I most definatly love being in my swim suit and slippers! On one of our adventures we took Max cross coutry skiing up East Canyon. We had a lot of fun. Max loves being in the backpack and going places. It must be being up high where he can see everything?? It was actually pretty warm this day and really sunny. Max looked so cute in his red santa claus snowsuit. To bad Ben didn't have a matching one this picture would have been so much cuter!

Happy Birthday Max!!

Max is one year old today! Before we left Salt Lake I threw him a early birthday party. I wanted to have everyone there for his number one so we had a little party on the day we were leaving. (I will post on it later)But, since today is the actual day we had to do something. The UPS man delivered a b-day present from G & G Derrick. Signing Time DVD's!! Max's favorite movie! Max and I went swimming and watched signing time. When Ben got home from work we walked down to the local 7-11 and got birthday ice cream sandwiches. It was really funny to watch Max eat his ice cream. His took a huge ol' bite and just sat there for a couple minute and let it melt in his mouth. After a few minutes he held up his hand "ice cream sandwich"! We love being parents! Max is so fun to hang out with and is such a happy little guy.

Moving

It is finally here! We just finished packing our moving truck, well almost. I am so tired so I had to take a break. Ben is so excited for the 4 day road trip he can hardly stand it. OK I lied there too, but we really are excited to finally be moving to Florida. Ben will start he exodus on Wednesday and I will leave Saturday. We love you all and will miss everyone! But don't you worry we will be back! Chao!!

Viva Las Vegas

Here are some pictures from when we went with Ben to Las Vegas for his interview with Allegiant Air. Max won big and he was accused of counting cards.

Ben has finally made it through training at Allegiant Air. He has spent the last two months down in Las Vegas doing some intense training. He is now online in Sanford Flordia, which is just outside of Orlando. Here is the offical class picture. Can you guess who the class clown is?

Happy New Year

One of my new years resolutions...Update my blog more than once a year! 2007 flew by. Max had his nine month check up today. NINE months! He crawls everywhere including up and down the stairs. He waves and claps to people especially dogs. He has four teeth which have inspired a few nickname such as Hungry Hippo and Fang. He loves to read and play with Saddie (the big German Shepard). In his short little life he has been to Detroit (to visit the Orme family), Seattle and Las Vegas. He was really good on all the trips and even won big in Vegas, OK maybe not.

Halloween was fun. Max was a Pirate, ARRRGH! He went trick-or-treating at Annie's and Grandma Derrick's.

He was really excited for Christmas Breakfast, oh and the presents. Santa gave his a rocking horse that makes galloping and neighing sounds. He loves it and he also got a really plush bath towel that he loves since that is his favorite activity. If I rolled him up in it he would lay there all day.

Maxedon cutie pants

Max was born on April 9th 2007 at 9:35pm (he waited just long enough for dad to show up!). He weighed 7 lbs 1 oz and was 21 inched long. He is the cutest little guy and is already 10 weeks old. At the doctors yesterday he weighed in at 12 lbs 14 oz! What a chunk! His little legs are getting so chubby. I love them. We went swimming this week for his first time and he loved it. He was so excited all he could do was coo and flail he arms and legs.
